Educational Action Challenging Homophobia (EACH)

Overview of service

EACH focuses on improving the education of the public concerning discrimination experienced by reason of sexual orientation or gender identity and helps lessen the effects of such discrimination on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.

Our services include:
- A National Actionline for young people up to age 18 to secure support following homophobic or transphobic bullying
- A confidential incident reporting service for residents of North Somerset to report homophobic or transphobic crime
- Training and consultancy on sexual orientation, gender identity and online working / safeguarding

Reach is a steering group for young people in the West of England to challenge prejudice-based bullying. This led to the creation of the Reach Teaching Resource to help teachers and others challenge homophobia, sexism and cyberbullying
