The Community Education programme includes a suite of training provided by programmes targeted at front line Night Time Economy (NTE) staff (including; taxi drivers, bar and restaurant staff, police, ambulance, street pastors and other health care agencies) colleges and the wider local community including those accessing the NTE.
The Community Education Programme aims to:-
- Increase safety within the NTE
- Reduce incidents of violence, abuse and sexual harassment
- Educate and build staff competency within the NTE (and wider staff network)
- Educate and build community competency: embedding a collective response to vulnerability
- Educate and raise awareness of healthy behaviours and relationships
- Build community resolution
- Build resilience and reduce harms associated with the NTE
